Blastomussa Merletti are also sometimes known as the “micro blasto” is closely related to the well-known blastomussa or “blasto” coral in both appearance and coloration. They do usually have smaller individual polyps that are grouped closely together, they generally come with a red outer polyp and a green center however there are variations on those colors as well. They are also the same in care as preferring lower water flow and not so aggressive lighting. Towards the bottoms in some slightly shaded areas is great for this coral. If you’re looking for a new LPS to try and want something new give these wonderful corals a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
