Chalice corals comprise a large group including Echinophyllia, Lithophyllon, Oxypora, Mycedium, Echinopora. Due to this large clumping of species its hard to generalize care for chalice corals however they tend to follow some of the basic rules for LPS corals. Low to medium lighting with moderate flow will make your chalice nice and happy, some are more willing to accept foods than others so try a few types to see what they like. Some food examples are as follows; powdered phyto-mixes, pellets, and frozen like mysis.
