Mini Scolymia Corals are found in the Australian reef system and are the cousins to the magnificent, War Paint scoly or Bleeding Apple scoly, as many refer to their variants as. These are smaller than a classic scoly but just as vibrant in color. They have the same growth pattern as well, keeping a very round disc shape on average. They come in every color in the rainbow and no two truly look alike. These Grade A minis are called that because they have at least two separate colors in their polyp. They don’t like tons of light, but they do like good quality light preferring to be on the sand bed more than glued to your rocks. However, you can still glue them to your rock work if you please.

Do Mini Scolymia accept frozen and prepared foods?

Well, these corals can be picky eaters but can accept meaty frozen and prepared foods when conditions are right preferring smaller chucks rather than larger ones.
