The ECC Red Blastomussa are a bright metallic red rim and a bright blue/teal central polyp with an almost yellow mouth. These fast-growing corals are quickly becoming a favorite among hobbyists. Not to they have haven’t been for a while already, but new color variants have been showing up recently bringing these corals back for another round in the spotlight! They are easy to feed and accept a wide range of meaty foods both frozen and prepared. They are also a very hardy coral capable of withstanding many conditions just one thing they will thrive in lower light situations and try not to place them too high up in the tank as their polyp won’t extend as much and that’s where these corals truly shine is when they have full thick polyp extension as they can get surprisingly large! They prefer lower water flow and not so aggressive lighting. Towards the bottoms in some slightly shaded areas is great for this coral. If you’re looking for a new LPS to try and want something new, give these wonderful corals a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
