The OGA Mystic Sunset Montipora is a fast growing intenly colored species, aslo refered to as revers superman montipora. This coral has a deep red color and teal blue polyps, it is an encrusting species meaning it will grow over rocks and other decorations taking their shape. Given enough time it will start to plate out like other montipora species.
Montipora are a wide stretching group of SPS that come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from tabling to branching, bumpy or smooth they’ve got it all. Also, they can be some of the most colorful variety doing best in higher lighting and strong flow, however, do not make the change from parameters too quickly with these corals as they dislike change so go slow when acclimating.
