These cute little gobies are great for nano tanks! With a bright blue stripe that glows under actinic lighting and a deep black body to really make it pop, the blue stripe neon goby it active and ready to grab a bite to eat from you. These fish can even be housed in groups in larger tanks with good rock work for lots of hiding spaces. These hardy gobies make a wonderful addition to any reef tank.

Gobies compose one of the largest family of fish in the ocean. These small fish live around reefs or on sandy flats. Many of the Gobies are known for burrowing in the sand for safety, and shrimp gobies are known to share their burrows with Pistol Shrimp. Most Gobies have cupped ventral fins that nearly join just below their gill plates that serve as perching mechanisms so the Goby can always be on the lookout in a resting position.

Gobies will readily accept a varied diet of Mysis shrimp, pellets or flake foods.  Their interactive personality makes them a truly desirable addition.
