The Golden Trevally as a juvenile is bright yellow with distinguished black stripes.  As they mature, the yellow fades into a golden silver color.  They can reach 4 feet in length at full maturity.

The Golden Trevally is a schooling fish as a juvenile and will follow pilot fish behavior by trailing larger animals such as sharks.

Their diet consists of pellets, flakes, mysis shrimp, and other meaty seafood.

We strongly urge anyone looking to keep a Trevally to thoroughly research the species prior to purchase.  This fish needs a minimum of 300 gallons and carefully chosen tank mates.
