The Golden Trevally as a juvenile is bright yellow with distinguished black stripes. As they mature, the yellow fades into a golden silver color. They can reach 4 feet in length at full maturity.
The Golden Trevally is a schooling fish as a juvenile and will follow pilot fish behavior by trailing larger animals such as sharks.
Their diet consists of pellets, flakes, mysis shrimp, and other meaty seafood.
