The Flower Anemone is also known as the Rock Anemone or Rock Flower Anemone. They come in a wide variety of colors and the oral disc is generally a different color than the tentacles with a smooth appearance. The Flower Anemone will bury itself in a sandy substrate only showing its oral disc and tentacles. It is relatively stationary, choosing one spot and not moving around much. Their diet consists of small shrimp and frozen meaty fish food.
The Red variety will be primarily red in color and could have other colors as well.
Anemones are a whimsical sea creature with a stunning display of color and entertainment. Anemones will do well in most environments, but they do have stinging cells, so any nearby corals will not be safe. Lastly, Anemones are fine in a community environment as other fish instinctively know to steer clear.
