The strawberry conch is a welcome addition to any clean up crew for reef tanks with sand beds. The strawberry conmch uses its proboscus to probe through the tand eating algae and detritus keeping your sand clean and looking fresh. They also turn the sand by prushing through it with their “foot” and even burrowing through the sand to get to something tasty hiding down below. We reccomend having 1 snail per 40 gallons of water volume to be an effective cleaner.
