Also known as the Yasha Haze Goby or Clown Shrimp Goby is a seldom seen but very unique goby. A red and white stripped body with a black patch under the jaw and large dorsal fin.
Gobies compose one of the largest family of fish in the ocean. These small fish live around reefs or on sandy flats. Many of the Gobies are known for burrowing in the sand for safety, and shrimp gobies are known to share their burrows with Pistol Shrimp. Most Gobies have cupped ventral fins that nearly join just below their gill plates that serve as perching mechanisms so the Goby can always be on the lookout in a resting position.
Gobies will readily accept a varied diet of Mysis shrimp, pellets or flake foods. Their interactive personality makes them a truly desirable addition.
